This post is a little off topic so I apologize. However, I did feel the need to expose a webhostingpad scam. The webhostingpad affiliate program people are scammers that need to be exposed.
It was discovered by accountants in my company that they were shorting us by about 2/3 on our affiliate commissions that we generated through some websites that our company owns. We sent webhostingpad about 20 customers each month over the past 3 months or so. They sent us payment for about 1/3 of the sales that occurred. This is one of the highest rates of chargeback with an affiliate we have ever had. The kind of rate that makes one think something fishy is going on. So we did some homework and found some accounts we had referred to webhostingpad were in fact active customers still.
We caught webhostingpad red handed in fraud activities. Webhostingpad sucks. We're exposing them and will keep telling our story to stick up for what's right. The web hosting industry doesn't need a scam company like webhostingpad. If they won't pay what is owed and they won't honor contracts - they should not be trusted to host critical information such as a company website.
Do not signup for the webhostingpad hosting service or their affiliate program. If you're currently an affiliate - I would do some homework on them.
I've tried to contact Ben Park at webhostingpad.com for nearly a month. No reply by phone or email. I've tried both. Ben Park is avoiding me due to what appears to be fraud by him and his company. This is unprofessional and illegal. We are not considering a lawsuit just to make an example of this type of business practice. Ben Park is a scam artist along with his co-workers at webhostingpad.
